The neck loop is a personal induction loop. It is worn round the neck outside clothing and connected to the audio source using the 3.5mm earphone jack. It is compatible with a wide range of audio equipment with headphone outputs including personal audio equipment such as guide systems, radio receivers, MP3-players, computers and telephones. It works directly with the hearing aid to provide the user with a tailored frequency response to suit their personal hearing loss. The field strength (volume level) generated will be dependent on the connected audio device. The neck loop requires no batteries. The length of the cord is 55cm/22in so it can be connected to an audio source in a holster, belt clip or pocket.
